  • Performance Goals

Because we know there is no one-size-fits-all solution for the trucking industry, the Endurant family of transmissions uses Performance Goals, which combine transmission shift points and clutch calibrations with unique software. This allows operators to easily tailor transmission performance to the demands of the job.

The transmission Calibration File is specific to the OEM-engine-transmission hardware combination and is made up of:

  1. One or more Performance Goals
  2. OEM-specific dash messaging
  3. OEM and engine-specific diagnostics
  4. Other electrical interfaces

A Performance Goal is made up of:

  1. Traditional shift calibration functions
  2. Launch, Urge-to-Move, and general clutch control calibrations
  3. Sensitivity and adaptiveness to things such as mass, engine brake, and terrain.

Individual Performance Goals may not be available with all engine-transmission-chassis combinations. Check with your truck manufacturer for availability.
